BACK TO ROOTS
This was a joint venture between Faiths4Change, Countryside Services and LCC Library Services. 15 people attended and took part in a workshop to explore the life as a Farmer in UK and exchange mutual experiences of farming both in UK and Pakistan. Workshops and discussions were led by Countryside services and Faiths4Change. In the afternoon group had an opportunity to explore the Osbaldeston dairy farm in operation and tour was led by farmer Chris…......
Chris who owns and runs Osbaldeston Hall Farm, guided the group showing them everything from new born calves to the milking herd and machines. Many questions were asked and answered. We even went for a quick walkaround the farm, walking along the beautiful Ribble River which boardershis farm. Even though the day was very cold, everyone enjoyed the visit to the farm and learned a lot about farming both in England and in Pakistan.
