Something broken in the house? Need something doing? Waiting for someone to do it? Well, you can wait forever!
These 14 people decided to do it themselves with the help of St John’s Centre, Helen Britton Associates and Faiths4Change. A bed base, dog kennel, a corner cupboard, also known as a wotnot, shelves, coathangers, seating box for the allotment, a mosaic mirror were just a few things made in this creative DIY skills class. The group were also treated to a talk about how to save energy and recycle by AfSL, Trafford Council and Emerge, as well as any environmental projects they may want to start themesleves with their place of worship, with the support of Faiths4Change. We also gave away power downs, energy saving bulbs and water hippos and information on saving water, global campaigning info, environmentally friendly products and energy suppliers.
