Noor Mosque
Following a £2,000 Development Fund grant from Faiths4Change and several months hard work by members of the mosque, Noor Mosque in Preston has now unveiled their much improved gardens.
The idea for the project came about when members of the mosque decided they would like to improve an overgrown area of the grounds to create a garden area for all members to use and enjoy.
During the grant negotiations with Faiths4Change links were made with the Wildlife Trust who agreed to provide practical support for the project as well as training for mosque members in planting and aftercare. This helped to ensure the site will be sustainable and looked after well into the future.
